Recipients of the "Excellence in Membership Growth" award are determined by the increased number of active joint memberships in 2007. Active joint members are defined as those with paid dues and current memberships in both the ASTD chapter and ASTD national.
 
In the small chapter size category, recognizing chapters with fewer than 100 members, the Tallahassee Chapter has successfully captured the spirit of this year's award by demonstrating an outstanding growth rate of 39 joint members in 2007.
 
In the medium chapter size category, recognizing chapters with 101-300 members, the Fort Lauderdale Chapter experienced a remarkable growth rate of 35 joint members in 2007.

 

In the large chapter size category, recognizing chapters with 301 or more members, the Metro DC Chapter has demonstrated a distinguished growth rate of 42 joint members in 2007.
